Optimization and control of business processes with industrial AI

Berlin, April 28, 2025 – PSI Software SE will participate at the GITEX Europe (Hall 2.2, Booth A25) in Berlin from May 21 to 23, 2025, for the first time. In line with the motto “Transform your business with Industrial AI – powered by PSI,” the focus will be on AI-based software products for the sustainable optimization and control of business processes in production, logistics, and energy supply.

PSI will demonstrate the importance of self-learning and automated Qualitative Labeling of business process data for the industrial use of adaptive, AI-based algorithms. The decision-making and optimization processes as well as AI methods are integrated via the PSI Industrial AI Framework and are already successfully in productive use in a large number of industry-specific PSI software products. This will be shown at the trade fair based on customer applications.

Presentations will include the cloud and workflow-based Manufacturing Execution System (MES) which offers adaptive AI-based sequencing and intelligent capacity and resource planning for the automotive and manufacturing industries with advanced scheduling and monitoring functions.

The Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system, which is integrated into some of PSI's software products, will also be on display. RAG supplements the online help system with generative AI, for example, so that users can be offered appropriate recommendations for action when they have questions.

Energy suppliers use AI-based software from grid management and systematic grid monitoring to energy trading. As part of intelligent maintenance and servicing strategies, energy grids and other processes in industrial environments can be reliably controlled. Industrial AI can also be experienced in action in the VR showcase “Control System of the Future”. PSI will demonstrate how adaptive and interoperable modules in the energy control system enable the processes for managing the grid infrastructure to be visualized efficiently and holistically.

Furthermore, the first AI-based platform that is directly connected to the warehouse management system will be presented. Initially available to customers, the solution analyzes and optimizes WMS-supported logistics processes with the help of a digital twin.

With around 6,000 exhibitors from over 100 countries, 1,800 startups, and more than 1,400 speakers, the world's largest tech and startup event, GITEX Europe, is taking place in Europe for the first time this year at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.

The PSI Group develops software products for optimizing the flow of energy and materials for utilities and industry. As an independent software producer with more than 2,300 employees, PSI has been a technology leader since 1969 for process control systems that ensure sustainable energy supply, production and logistics by combining AI methods with industrially proven optimization methods. The innovative industry products can be operated on-premises or in the cloud.
