PSIpenta/ERP supports digitalization strategy with a comprehensive solution
Berlin, April 10, 2025 – PSI Software SE has been awarded by the mechanical and plant engineering manufacturer JENZ GmbH to implement the ERP system PSIpenta. Alongside with order management, the integrated modules for storage location as well as change and service management will be delivered.

With the multisite multi-plant control, PSIpenta/ERP will also support the Austrian site centrally from the company headquarters in Petershagen in all core processes. Besides cost accounting, tasks in the finance division for wages and salaries as well as human resources, including automatic archiving of incoming invoices, will be completed.
Another key component of the comprehensive solution will be the simultaneous implementation of a new product lifecycle management system (PLM) from CONTACT Software, located in Bremen. This enables, with a “single source of truth” strategy for all digital processes, transparency across the entire value chain, from design and production to sales and service.
Further decisive factors for JENZ in awarding the contract to PSI were the PSI-Click-Design, the possibilities for self-administration of the entire ERP system, as well as the use of a wide range of mobile ERP processes via the PSIpenta/Industrial Apps.
The project was launched via the Trovarit ERP selection platform and successfully carried out by the Lingen-based consulting firm LEANNOVA GmbH.
JENZ GmbH, based in Petershagen, is a family-run company and a leading manufacturer of biomass processing machines. With around 250 employees, the company develops and produces state-of-the-art machines that are used for the efficient shredding of wood and green waste, as well as biogas substrates.
