  • Order Dressing PSImetals Order Dressing combines product configuration with a rule-based engine to dynamically generate Production Orders from purchase orders, including first-time orders. Production Orders cover production routes, material demand, quality targets, and test instructions, serving as primary input for L2 automation and effort calculation. It also performs feasibility checks, order combination, and variant elaboration for enhanced planning flexibility.
  • Test Management and Quality Control PSImetals Quality defines tests, inspections, and sampling, creates configurable inspection plans with quality targets and evaluates the test results. It assigns defects and holds to materials, enables exhaustive evaluation of work in progress and final products, and supports so release and certification. In case of nonconformities, it plans reworks and reactive actions that can be smoothly executed thanks to seamless integration with PSImetals Production.
  • Advanced Quality Evaluation and Analytics The digitalization of the manufacturing process delivers a large amount of (high-resolution) data that needs to be structured in order to deliver value. Quality Process Snapshot collects and visualizes data for single material units along the production route and genealogy. Quality Indicators extract key figures for quality control, while Embedded Business Intelligence dashboards analyze production, calculate KPIs, and identify priorities and weaknesses.
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) SPC uses statistical methods to monitor production processes. Control charts define and evaluate key variables, aiming to identify long-term trends that might lead to undesired process nonconformities. Initially based on historical data, these charts are validated and activated for ongoing monitoring, with rule violations trigger notifications to responsible personnel.
