Multi-divisional functionalities for network control and monitoring
Berlin, March 13, 2023 - Swiss network operator EW Wald AG is replacing its previous control system with the PSIprins 8 network control system from PSI Software AG. The multi-divisional software product will manage, monitor and control the power grid. With this order, EW Wald is modernizing its existing service portfolio and will be able to increase the security of supply.
Further extensive modules, for example for network transparency in low voltage, switching management or intelligent charging management for electro-mobility, can be easily added in further project steps.
Due to its low maintenance requirements and ease of use, PSIprins is a compact system that is particularly suitable for partners and can therefore be implemented for new customers within a very short time. The project duration is estimated at nearly one year, including the individual adaptations to the requirements of EW Wald. The project is being implemented on site by the Swiss PSI partner company Bouygues E&S Prozessautomation AG, which is specialized in the development and integration of comprehensive automation solutions for infrastructure and industrial plants.
EW Wald AG, headquartered in Wald, is a regional energy service provider supplying customers in the main town of the municipality as well as in the areas of Laupen, Riet, Töbeli- Dürnten, Oberholz and Diemberg.
