Dispatching system determines optimal driving profiles of the trains

Berlin, October 27, 2021 – PSI Automotive & Industry GmbH has been commissioned by mts Microtunneling Systems GmbH to implement the ERP system PSIpenta Version 9.3. The delivery includes the PSIpenta order management as well as the shop-floor data collection and personnel time recording modules.

For this order, especially the order management functions were important for the management of customer, purchasing, calculation, job scheduling, material and warehouse processes up to production. Supplemented by the cost accounting module, value creation can thus be tracked end-to-end. In addition, both PSI's decades of expertise in the field of special plant engineering and the recent successful online launch at the sister company PERFORATOR GmbH in Walkenried were decisive factors.

With the software solution PSIpenta Version 9, which is based on the PSI Java Framework, intuitive adaptations of user interfaces to individual requirements can be done with PSI Click Design.

With around 40 employees, Valluhn-based mts Microtunneling Systems GmbH offers a wide range of solutions for micro tunneling and press drilling technology. The products are used worldwide in infrastructure and tunneling projects, especially in wastewater disposal or service tunneling.

With mts Microtunneling System GmbH, a second company from the Schmidt-Kranz Group (Schmidt, Kranz & Co. GmbH) relies on the ERP system PSIpenta.

The PSI Group develops its own software products for optimizing the flow of energy and materials for utilities (energy grids, energy trading, public transport) and industry (metals production, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics). PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 2,100 people worldwide.
