How is PSIwms AI proving itself in the field? In an initial test run at the fulfillment center of the fashion company LPP in Pruszcz Gdański, Poland, the solution has already proven itself. The main challenge for the product was to intelligently solve the infamous "Traveling Salesman Problem" (TSP) - and it did so with flying colors. The goal was to find the shortest route between several storage locations and thus eliminate efficiency deficits in order picking. With the help of PSIwms AI, PSI was able to optimize the distribution of articles in the warehouse and the arrangement of pick lists in such a way that the picking routes were shortened by more than 30 percent. The efficiency of the picking process was increased by 23 percent. The jury was unanimous: Thanks to this strong performance, PSIwms AI LPP is helping to get a handle on the rapidly growing volume of online orders. In the past, this was a major challenge for the company's logistics. The solution is now being used successfully at three other locations.
