Power Grids and Sector Coupling PSIcontrol | Installation of hosts with the aid of an ICP

The training course is designed for Linux administrators and provides an overview about in-stalling/recovering of common host types with the aid of an ICP 4. During the meta installation, all steps of a host installation (recovery) will be proceeded and explained. The installation of pre-compiled PSI components (PSIcontrol/PSIcommand/PSIcontrol/Xchange etc.) is also a part of the meta installation. Furthermore, an overview about the security updates will be provided.
After completing the training, the participants will be able to install the server location that is needed for the execution of PSI software components (database server, workplace server, inter-connection server and Xchange server).

System administrators

Completion of ICP 4 – Introduction (SKUICP) Following subsections of Linux at least LPIC2-Niveau:

• File and user management
• Network configuration

System requirements: ICP 4 or higher (older versions on request)

After completing the training, you will receive a certificate of participation, listing the individual training contents.

After registration you will receive a confirmation of your participation with all information about the organisational procedure. Your participation is only guaranteed upon receipt of this confirmation.

The fees for the training course include the costs for the rooms, speakers, detailed documentation, drinks during breaks and lunch. All other costs associated to the training are to be paid by the participant.

Cancellation after confirmation of participation is possible up to 6 weeks before the training course begins. Later cancellations will be charged with 80% of the training fees, unless a replacement participant can be found.

Please note that the group enquiry option relates to our cross-customer training courses. Employees of another energy supplier may be able to take part. The training courses take place on the customer-independent system at the PSI site in Aschaffenburg Boschweg.
