e-regio uses a company-owned system in its current business operations. Due to the increasing volatility of prices in short-term electricity trading and the increased importance of production forecasts for renewable energies, the company's management decided to replace the existing solution with a modern energy portfolio management system.
Objectives
The specific objective is to build an integrated portfolio management system that meets the specific requirements of e-regio. e-regio wants to optimize processes and have a full-fledged system with comprehensive support, seamless updates and more automation, as well as the inclusion of best practices in the system landscape.
Solution approach
PSI offers e-regio a cloud-based SaaS solution that is tailored to the daily work processes in a cloud infrastructure and ensures technical operation and continuous updates. It is integrated into the existing software landscape via interfaces. The necessary support and maintenance of the system are ensured by a service contract.
The PSImarket portfolio management system will be implemented in the existing system landscape in 2024 to map time series, portfolio and energy data management processes. It reduces procurement costs and enables a flexible response to market developments.
