Berlin, March 18, 2021 - The personnel dispatching system Profahr offered by the PSI subsidiary Moveo Software GmbH can now be expanded to include the module for legally compliant, contactless driver's license checks. Drivers automatically receive a reminder to scan their driver's license. This saves considerable coordination efforts for dispatchers and drivers and increases the security to meet the prescribed deadlines.

By adding the driver's license check module, Profahr customers can dispense with the ususal time-consuming visual checks of the dispatcher. For example, drivers are automatically prompted to scan their driver's license the next time they log in to a driver terminal. The data is compared with the information stored in Profahr, new deadlines are determined and the driver's license check is stored in the system. If the system detects any discrepancies, the responsible dispatcher receives a message in order to take the necessary steps.

Regular driver's license checks for drivers and employees are one of the cardinal obligations for public transport companies, bus and travel businesses as well as enterprises that provide company cars. Since violations can have penal consequences, official bodies advise that original documents be inspected twice a year. Until now, this has been carried out through time-consuming visual inspections by dispatchers.

Based on its own software products, PSI Group develops  and integrates complete solutions for optimizing the flow of energy and materials for utilities (energy networks, energy trading, public transport) and industry (metals production, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics). PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 2,000 people worldwide.
